Born in 1977, Mr Kaurayi obtained a National Diploma in Architectural Technology in 2001. Prior to joining IDC, he worked for the Alpha Housing Development (Bulawayo), Archiplan Architects (Harare), Hudson Architectural Designs, Muhle Unlimited Designs and Indalo Yethu (Johannesburg), obtaining experience on projects valued from R500,000 to R28 million. These include:

- Bophelong Hospital
- Lehlabile CHC
- Sizwe Hospital
- San Casino
- Battoridge Development
- Musina traffic Department
- 1 Bompas Avenue
Recent project experience includes various schools for the IDT in Limpopo, and the Duduza Depot in Nigel, South Africa.
